Hotel Description
The Presidente InterContinental Ixtapa is an all-inclusive resort located on Palmar Bay along a stretch of Pacific coastline known as the Costa Dorada (Golden Coast), and set against the lush backdrop of the Sierra Madre del Sur mountains.
In addition to swimming in the beautiful, palm-graced pool and walking the lengthy stretch of beach, the hotel offers an array of daily activities. Work on your serve, volley and return on the tennis courts. Sign up for Spanish language, cooking and bar lessons, or play a game of bingo. Get fit in aerobics classes or compete in the games and contests that run all day long.
The all-inclusive plan includes accommodations, all meals and drinks, tips and a wide range of recreational facilities, entertainment and activities. The hotel features six distinct dining options--the pleasant Frutas y Flores, the seaside La Isla Restaurant and Bar, the poolside Cana Brava snack bar, the gourmet La Terraza, outdoor eating at El Patio and snacks at the Deli. Guests can also dine in the privacy of their own room and order room service, available 24 hours a day. In addition, the hotel hosts three theme parties each week. Drinks are available at the Pool Bar, the Lobby Bar and the Daiquiri Factory on the beach.
While you relax, the free Chiqui Club programs ensure that your children (ages 6-12) are being looked after and entertained. To learn more about Mexican culture, kids are taught basic Spanish and authentic Mexican songs and dances in addition to playing Mexican games. Kids create and paint their own Mexican handicrafts and are taught how to make pinatas. Other hotel facilities and services include a business center and gym.
