Drum Museum Taikokan presents a hands-on exhibit of drums from around the world, many of which can be handled and actually played by visitors. A small but interesting personal collection, housed upstairs in a traditional festival costume and instrument store in an old district of Asakusa.

Imperial Palace
The Imperial palace is home to Japan's Emperor and the imperial family. Enjoy the walk around the moat. The grounds, however, are only open on two days of the year: the Emperor's birthday (Dec 23rd) and January 2nd.
