Stratosphere Thrill Rides
Take four wicked scary rides and perch them atop a 100 story tower and you get the idea... The Stratosphere is home to 4 of the world's highest thrill rides - the Big Shot, X Scream, High Roller and Insanity the Ride.
Insanity is a big arm that suspends riders 64 feet out over the edge of the tower and then whirls them around at up to 3 Gs. The views, if you can keep your eyes open, are supposed to be excellent...
X Scream promises to hurl visitors head-first over the edge of the tower. In theory it pulls them back as well.
The High Roller is the world's highest roller coaster. It wraps around the top of the tower over 900 feet in the air and reaches speeds up to 32 miles an hour.
Big Shot launches riders straight up the tower's mast to a height of 1,081 feet! Experience 4 Gs as you launch skyward at 45 miles per hour and negative Gs on the way back down.
